【題目】Construction Method Research Using BIM: A Focus on the Precast Concrete Partitioning Method Leveraging Genetic Algorithms
【概要】This study proposes a method to automatically derive the optimum division plan for the frame precast concrete using a genetic algorithm from the BIM model created at the design stage.
In the Japanese frame precast concrete construction method (PCa), it is common to construct structures with split units that differ from the normal building elements, for example by using members that integrate the tops of columns and the ends of beams, or by using cast-in-place concrete for the panel zones. It is difficult to directly calculate the information required for construction planning from the design BIM model, which consists of columns and beams in divisional units different from the construction. In this study, the concept of ‘panel zone’ was modelled and a method was proposed to represent a construction BIM model consisting of panel zones, columns and beams as ‘PCa products’ by decomposing and combining columns and beams as ‘sections’ by parametrically changing the panel zone range. Meanwhile, by conducting interviews and questionnaires to general contractors, the factors related to the design and planning of column and beam PCa components were analysed and an evaluation mechanism for the proposed column and beam division was devised. Based on the results of these studies, the present study developed a BIM-based method of planning the PCa construction of the frame using a genetic algorithm. This method provides a technological solution that can support the planning of frame division with construction rationale taken into account at an early stage of the design process.
