Housing and Environmental Design Studio / Laboratory is specializing FIELD ARCHITECTURE, RE-DSIGN OF THE COMMUNITY, CONSERVATION OF CULTURAL LANDSCAPE, in School of Architecture, Shibaura Institute of Technology Tokyo. The Lab. aims at understanding interaction between architecture and human being especially focusing on vernacular ways of housing and dwelling world wide and presenting the new ways how to make use of it in the current context and for the further sustainable development of the community.
