Creation of Sustainable Development Model of the Village Through the Use of Housing and Dwelling Culture
The team of the project on "Creation of Sustainable Development Model of the Village Through the Use of Housing and Dwelling Culture" traveled to discuss about further step of the actual ways of activation of the project both to Thailand and Laos.
In the rural village of Chiang mai of Thailand, we had the opportunity to exchange opinion with villagers and we agreed with them that we will remodel one of the traditional houses and use it as cultural exhibition center for the representation of villagers ethnic identity. Moreover in the targeted village which is located outskirt of Luang Prabang in Laos, we will focus on the textile to activate the village and started to collect detailed information and local knowledge on textile, weaving, and cotton. We will try to stock some amount from the profit by fair trading of the textile products and use it as further development of textile culture and conservation of traditional architecture.
